You can also count on the best products, application methods, and safety protocols in the industry; if we find something better, we buy it and start using it. We’re not satisfied when you’re merely satisfied…we’re only satisfied when you’re a raving fan!
While we are experts at what we do, we never forget that our service is more about quality and customer relationships than just eliminating bugs.
General Pest Control Services
Our general pest control service covers the insects Central Texas homeowners deal with most: ants, spiders, scorpions, fleas, ticks, chiggers, wasps, earwigs, crickets, centipedes, millipedes, silverfish, pantry pests, and clothes moths. For pests that require specialized treatment – like termites, rodents, bed bugs, or mosquitoes – we offer dedicated service programs listed below.
All products we use are odorless, colorless, and safe for homes with kids and pets. Botanical and organic product options are available on request. We apply products in the least volatile formulations, targeted to the specific pest – the right treatment in the right place, and only as much as needed.
Stride operates on a year-round maintenance agreement model because pest problems in Central Texas are recurring. Every plan includes unlimited free re-services between scheduled visits. If pests come back, so do we – at no extra charge. These are service agreements, not contracts, and a 5% discount is available for annual prepayment.
Our Specialized Pest Control Services
For pests that require targeted treatment methods, we offer dedicated service programs. Every service starts with a free inspection.
Termite Control
Central Texas is home to multiple subterranean termite species that stay active year-round in our warm, humid climate. We provide termite treatment, ongoing monitoring, and Wood Destroying Insect Reports (WDIR) for real estate transactions.
Rat Control
Mice and roof rats are a year-round problem in Central Texas, with call volume increasing in the fall and winter as rodents seek shelter indoors. We use interior trapping and exterior exclusion to seal entry points and remove existing populations. Every rodent service starts with a free inspection to identify how they are getting in.
Bed Bug Control
Bed bugs are hitchhikers that can show up in any Central Texas home regardless of cleanliness, often arriving on luggage, furniture, or clothing. We use targeted chemical applications with a follow-up inspection at 10-14 days to confirm elimination.
Mosquito Control
Central Texas heat and humidity create ideal breeding conditions for mosquitoes from early spring through late fall. Our two-prong approach targets both adult mosquitoes and larvae to reduce populations around your property.
Cockroach Control
Roaches thrive in the warm, humid conditions across Central Texas and can carry bacteria, contaminate food, and trigger allergies and asthma. We identify the species to determine the right treatment approach - German roaches require specific prep steps and targeted application.
Ant Control
Central Texas is home to multiple ant species that invade homes looking for food and water, including fire ants, carpenter ants, and acrobat ants. We identify the species first because different ants require different treatment methods. Every service starts with a free inspection and includes pet/family-friendly products.
Spider Control
Central Texas homes commonly see brown recluse and black widow spiders along with wolf spiders, jumping spiders, and orb weavers. We treat the interior and exterior of your home, focusing on the entry points and areas where spiders nest. Every service starts with a free inspection by a TDA-licensed technician.
Scorpion Control
Scorpions are common across Central Texas, especially in newer developments built on previously undeveloped land where scorpion populations are already established. We treat around the foundation, entry points, and harborage zones where scorpions hide during the day. .
Commercial Pest Control
Stride holds three QualityPro specialty certifications for commercial environments where pest control standards go beyond residential service. Each certification requires additional training, specialized protocols, and adherence to industry-specific regulatory requirements.
Whether you operate a school, restaurant, healthcare facility, or other commercial property, our team is certified to meet the standards your industry requires. All commercial services include free inspections and consultations.
STRIDE FORWARD
ECO-BASED strategy program
Stride Forward is our Integrated Pest Management program where we partner with our clients in the long-term removal and prevention of pests. Keeping your property free of unwanted insects and rodents works best when we work together.
The program combines habitat manipulation, biological control, cultural behavior changes, and the targeted use of products designed to repel or eradicate pests. Our approach follows five steps, with non-chemical methods prioritized before any product application.

Pest Inspection
The cornerstone of the Stride Forward Program is the initial inspection and regular inspections during treatments thereafter. These inspections focus on areas where pests are most likely to appear and identify any potential entry points, food & water sources, or harborage zones that might encourage pest problems.
The cornerstone of the Stride Forward Program is the initial inspection and the regular inspections during treatments that follow. We focus on areas where pests are most likely to appear and identify any entry points, food and water sources, or harborage zones that might be encouraging the problem. Every initial inspection is free and includes a full consultation on our findings and recommended next steps.

Pest Identification
Different pests have different behaviors. By identifying the problematic pests, they can then be eliminated more efficiently. Professional pest management always includes the correct identification of the pest in question. All of our technicians undergo rigorous training in pest identification and behavior.

Recommendation
Once identified, we can recommend steps to address issues before they cause real problems. These recommendations will range from preventative measures to the need for products to fight an infestation. Stride offers some of the preventative measures as a service – others will be recommended to you for implementation.

Pest Treatment
Stride Forward emphasizes the use of non-chemical control methods such as exclusion or trapping before product options. When other control methods are inappropriate for the situation, the product may be used in the least volatile formulations in targeted areas to treat the specific pest. In other words, the right treatments in the right place, and only as much as needed to get the job done.

Final Evaluation
Since pest control is an ongoing process, Stride will continue monitoring your property for pest activity during regular treatments. This will protect against infestations and help eliminate existing ones. Stride will also continue to make preventative recommendations of actions that you can do as a property owner to protect and eliminate any unwanted pests.
