Family-Owned Pest Control Since 2013
Stride Pest Control started as a one-person operation when Tyson Kearns moved his family from the Rocky Mountains to Round Rock, Texas. Tyson brought nine years of pest control industry experience – working as a technician, Chief Marketing Officer, and in management at Preventive Pest Control – and built the company on a simple mission: To provide the best possible pest control service, in the nicest possible way.
That approach has grown into a team of 20+ employees covering Austin, Round Rock, San Antonio, and Waco. Stride has served nearly 12,000 customers across Central Texas. Alex Randall owns and operates the San Antonio location, which launched in January 2020. All three Stride locations operate under coordinated ownership with consistent service standards.

What makes your company different than other pest control companies?
At Stride Pest Control we feel that we have several competitive advantages. We are a local service provider, which enables us to offer better service and have greater attention to detail. We use the best products out on the market – if something comes out on the market that is better we switch to that product. We won’t just keep using a product because it is the cheapest. We want our services to work for our clients. We aren’t necessarily the cheapest provider in town but not the most expensive either – ‘you get what you pay for’ – we provide something that really works!
Do you offer same day service?
In many cases yes. We offer same day services when calling before 3 pm. We respond within 24 hours and work to schedule you as soon as possible based on route and location.
What type of products do you use and are they toxic?
When discussing risk there are usually two factors at play – toxicity and exposure. An analogous example would be pumping gasoline at a gas station. Gasoline is toxic to humans, but the way you pump it there is no exposure, and hence little risk. We use very low toxic products, but more importantly, we are extremely careful about where we apply each product. There is little chance of exposure to you and your pets, so extremely low risk.
