Meet Roderick Thomas

Roderick has six years of experience in pest control and serves customers throughout Austin as part of the Stride team. He holds a pest control license and has earned additional certifications over the course of his career.

Roderick’s approach to every visit starts with understanding what the customer needs. He specializes in educating customers on what to expect from their service, particularly around the misconception that results should be immediate. He believes sanitation is the foundation of effective pest control and has seen firsthand how a customer’s willingness to clean thoroughly can make all the difference, including on one particularly severe German roach infestation that resolved itself quickly once the right steps were taken at home.

What drives Roderick most is being a problem solver. He wants every customer to feel that their home has been serviced correctly and that they’re protected from pests.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him watching sports – especially football. He’s a proud Seattle Seahawks fan and will happily remind you they won the Super Bowl this year.
