Marcos Zarragoitia

Sales Inspector

Meet Marcos Zarragoitia

Marcos got into pest control almost five years ago thinking it would be temporary. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. Today he works as a sales inspector for Stride, covering the greater Austin area. He holds a TDA license in both pest control and termite control and is QualityPro certified across multiple categories.

Marcos believes no stone should go unturned during an inspection – and he means that literally. Customers are often stressed out when he arrives, which is why he makes it a priority to walk each one through both the problem and the solution, making sure they leave the conversation with a clear next step and the confidence that they’re in good hands.

Some of Marcos’s most complex work has involved termites. One of the most severe infestations he’s encountered was in a mobile home where termites had constructed completely freestanding shelter tubes from the crawlspace floor all the way up to the bottom of the home – a level of infestation that required both experience and an exceptionally thorough approach to resolve.

His advice to homeowners: walk your whole yard regularly, even that cluttered side yard you never use. When something looks different, call a professional. And whatever you do, don’t ask ChatGPT.

Outside of work, Marcos is into whittling and also enjoys chess, birds, nature and playing sports.
