Meet Burton Johnston

Burton came into pest control with no experience, no licenses and a solid case of arachnophobia – and turned it into a career he’s deeply proud of. He joined Stride as a technician, worked his way up to lead technician and eventually into his current role as service manager.

Today, no two days look the same. Some days Burton is in the field helping technicians troubleshoot tough issues or supporting customers directly. Other days he’s working on payroll, building SOPs, refining treatment protocols, managing fleet logistics and improving service efficiency.

What drives him most is watching his technicians grow professionally and become people customers can trust. He believes in never cutting corners, communicating clearly and making sure every home is treated with care and attention.

Outside of work, Burton enjoys basketball, gaming and arts and crafts with his family. In the summer you’ll find them at the local water parks.
