Pest Control Technician – Stride Pest Control (Austin & San Antonio)
Stride Pest Control, one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated pest control companies in the Austin and San Antonio areas, is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated pest control technician to join our growing team. Never done pest control before? That’s OK! If you’re someone who has a passion for outdoor activities, likes to solve problems, and enjoys the challenge of working independently in a variety of conditions, we’re confident that you’ll absolutely love this field.
Compensation: $45,000 – $70,000+ yearly (starting pay based on experience, with increases the longer you stay)

What You’ll Do:
You’ll manage every step of the customer’s journey from start to finish, upholding the high standards we’ve established in the communities we serve. This includes inspecting homes and commercial spaces to identify pest issues, determining the least invasive solution, creating and communicating a plan of action, performing treatments, answering questions, offering prevention suggestions, completing paperwork, and following up after service.
While sales isn’t required, you’ll have the opportunity to earn generous commissions on any new business you bring in.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and enclosed spaces (attics, crawlspaces)
- Able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work at heights up to 20 feet
- Flexible schedule availability (roughly 50 hours/week in summer, 40 hours/week in winter)
- Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction
- Detail oriented with consistent work history
No previous pest control experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
